The government of Japan called the conditions under which Tokyo signs a peace treaty with Moscow.
The Secretary General of the Japanese Cabinet, Yusychide Suga, noted that the treaty would become possible after the ownership of the four islands of the Kuril Ridge, which the Japanese consider their own, is determined.
The editors of uznayvse.ru remind that in recent months a large amount of news has appeared in the press devoted to the Kuril Islands. So, it was not once reported that Russia could transfer to Japan two islands, or even all the islands of a ridge. In mid-December, Russian President Vladimir Putin should visit Japan, and it is likely that during this visit, the Kuril issue will be resolved one way or another.
