Why are alliances necessary?
Unions are service words thatare used to connect the members of the sentence. Are they so important? Why are unions in Russian? Unions in our speech are irreplaceable, because they combine syntactic units and express the semantic links between words and parts of sentences. The unions have their own grammatical meaning - they indicate the syntactic connection that exists between the units of the language. Depending on this, they are called coherent and subordinate. Both those and others in Russian unite the words or parts of the sentence into a whole, and also express the different characters of the connection between them.
The role of conjunctions in sentences: examples
Union "and" often used to unify the homogeneous members of the sentence: "In the zoo I saw tigers and monkeys."
Writing and opposing alliances alsoare used in compound sentences: "Father called, and Sergei ran." Parts of the compound sentence are combined by a "and". The unions "a" and "but" are used in compound sentences for opposition: "Fedor did something stupid, and Victor was able to correct his mistake"; "Larissa knew about his misdemeanor, but she could not tell anyone about it."
A very large role unions play in complex sentences, they express different relations between the main part of the proposal and the subordinate clause.
So, the union can participate in educationcomplex sentence with an explanatory subordinate, which explains, reveals in the subordinate part the thought begun in the main. Examples: "Yana told how she rested in the summer" (told about what?); "He decided it was time to look for work" (he decided what?).
Another example of a complex sentence, inwhich the "if" union passes the condition (the conditional part of the conditional type): "If it's bad weather tomorrow, I will not go for a walk" (I will not go for a walk under what condition?).
But the proposal, in which the union "when" transmits the temporary nature of the subordinate part: "When the holidays begin, we will go abroad with our parents" (will we go abroad to rest abroad?).
And we give the last example of compoundproposal, in which the union "because" expresses the causal relationship between the main part and the subordinate: "She took offense at you because you did bad to her" (the question to the subordinate: why she was offended?).
Let's sum up, why unions in Russianlanguage. Thanks to the unions, our speech becomes connected and logical. They are necessary for expressing thoughts either verbally or in writing. The unions connect words and parts of complex sentences between themselves, express various semantic links between them.
